Rea's Musketeer tops US box office...

Stephen Rea in his latest movie, an adaptation of French classic The Three Musketeers has topped the American box office in the weekend's films.

The Musketeer, which stars Tim Roth, Catherine Deneuve, Justin Chambers and the Irish actor Rae, came in ahead of Rockstar, which stars Jennifer Aniston and Mark Wahlberg.

Rockstar came in at third place, taking in 4.22 million at the box office compared to The Musketeer's total of 7.32 million.

The Musketeer is not the first film to be based on the classic Alexander Dumas novel - in fact, it is the 33rd version made by Hollywood, the first being produced in silent black and white in 1914.
