B*Witched
are Officially No More...
B*Witched
had five number one hits only two years ago - but
two years is an eternity in the tough world of bubble
gum pop.
B*Witched
were the female version of Boyzone and they
even had two of Boyzoner Shane Lynch's sisters
in the band to give it that Northside touch.
This
week however the sad news comes from the band's camp.
They have officially been dropped from their record
label and the band are no more.
The
eldest B*witched chic Sinead O'Carroll has
officially left the band and is going her separate
way.
Speaking
to ShowBizIreland.com this week Sinead says
all is not lost as she has a new star on her horizon:
"B*witched are officially over but I still have to
carry on. I am currently getting ready to launch a
solo career and since leaving the band I have started
working on some solo material which I hope to release
by the end of the year."
But,
fear not loyal B*witched fans. You don't have to wait
that long to see Sinead...
Next
Saturday night Sinead will be one of the list of performers
on the billing for the first Independent Newspapers
Rat Pack ball in the Four Seasons hotel in aid
of Dr David Fenlly's Cancer Research Unit in
St Vincent's hospital.
The
Irish Rat Pack
Sinead
will be singing the songs of Ella Fitzgerald.
While
Boyzone's Mikey Graham will sing the songs
of Bobby Darin's.
Crooner
Jack L will sing Sinatra, Stephen
Gately-Perry Como, Eurovison winner Paul Harrington-Sammy
David Junior.
The
host of the show is Gerry Ryan while Michael
Flatley, Westlife and Sinead O'Connor will
also make guest appearances depending on availability.
The good news for those wishing to get their own back
on us will be happy to know that ShowBizreland.com's
editor Jason O'Callaghan got struck with the
role of Dean Martin.
Details
on the ball can be got in Ireland from +353 (0)86
2609819.
