Flatley & Bulter's Fate of the Dance...
Turn
of favour couldn't be more different for the two people
who brought Riverdance to the world, Michael
Flatley and Jean Butler, as one of them
could be crippled within 10 years!
Michael
Flatley is preparing to host the party of all parties
with Nelson Mandella confirmed to be the first
person through the doors of his Castlehyde
home in Cork.
Billionaire
Flatley will return the favour by personally performing
on the opening night of his Lord of the Dance
show when it hits South Africa next spring.
Jean
on the other hand has revealed to the press that she
will have to give up dancing or she will be crippled
within 10 years.
Decades
of Irish dance has left Jean, who currently stars
in the movie Goldfish Memory, with battered
knees and creaky ankles.
The
stunning redhead told the press in regard her exit
from dancing: "I'd say there will be a time because
I'll be pretty crippled... in about 10 years."
Jean
tried to follow Flately's success with her own show
Dancing on Dangerous Ground but it flopped leaving
massive debts.
But
Jean showed her true grit and followed the first rule
of business which is to learn from your failures,
she said in reference to the failed show:
"I
think there is something humbling about having a huge
commercial failure in your life. It makes you look
at things with far less eriousness."
But
don't count talented Jean out just yet, the 32 year
old has made three movies in the last year.
