Flatley's Rape Case Dropped...

Irish dance supremo Michael Flatley will have something extra to celebrate when he officially opens the doors of his Cork mansion in the Spring as the rape case against him has been dropped.

Michael Flatley may have the biggest show on the planet at the moment and dignitaries like Nelson Mandella coming to the house warming of his Castlehyde home but there has been a bigger worry on the mind of the Lord of the Dance...

About six months ago Tanya Marie Robertson brought rape claims against Michael after a date she went on with him in Las Vegas.

Flatley has always vehemently denied her claims, saying their sexual relations were consensual and Robertson was simply trying to blackmail him for money.

Thus, he filed a $100 million counter claim against the woman.

Now the allegations have been withdrawn in a US court where Ms Robertson's lawyers were told that they could either withdraw the charges voluntarily or the judge would dismiss the case.

Meanwhile Flatley's multi million dollar counter claim is still going ahead.
