Sinead
still has a Tribute to Diana...
Irish singer Sinead O'Connor is never far from
controversy and now she is due to release a song about
Princess Diana which was originally banned
from the Diana tribute album.
Retired
but not forgotten singer Sinead O'Connor wrote a song
after the tragic death of Princess Diana called Brigidine
Diana which was to be included on the tribute
album.
But
because of its controversial lyrics the British Royal
family demanded it be moved from the record which
also featured U2, REM, Simply Red, and many
other top artists.
Now
pregnant Sinead has had the last laugh by putting
the song on her farewell album She Who Dwells.
The
song pays tribute to Diana's sons Harry and
William and was "a reaction to the Elton
John Candle in the Wind track, which I personally
strongly objected to," said Sinead.
It
has also been reported that Sinead posed naked for
the cover of another track from her CD.
