Queen of the Jungle Kerry McFadden showed just how much Irish kids are near and dear to her heart when she donated the almost half million Euro cheque from I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here to 14 children's charities yesterday...

ShowBiz Ireland would like to take our hat off to Kerry McFadden who has made so many children in Ireland a little better off today after donating the money she raised while in hell in the Australian Outback, €467,000, to The Variety Club of Ireland.

As usual in great cheer while playing with the disabled kids from the various charities and willing to flirt with the flashing cameras Kerry showed us yesterday at the Burlington Hotel just why so many people voted for her to make her Queen of the Jungle in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

Kerry told the press: "I am overwhelmed that my time in the Australian jungle could have raised so much money for Irish children's charities. I missed my two girls so much when I was away but what kept me going was the fact that every day I stayed in the jungle I knew I was helping to raise more money."

Kerry also attended a black-tie dinner at the Burlington Hotel last night where the 14 Irish charities, which represent the 14 days Kerry spent in the jungle, received their cheques.
