When ShowBiz Ireland spotted Ronan Keating rushing into Mount Carmel Hospital yesterday carrying a House of Fraser bag filled with clothes we didn't realise just how imminent the birth of his third child was...

Wearing a BMW cap and shades Ronan was in a hurry but extremely composed as he entered the hospital where his wife Yvonne was due to give birth at any moment.

A few days earlier Ronan had to rush back to Ireland from the All Star Golf Challenge in Wales when Yvonne had a false alarm - but luckily she was allowed home and told to wait a few more days.

And yesterday model Yvonne gave birth to a healthy 8lb 3oz baby girl who they immediatley named Ali - Ronan and Yvonne have two other children: Jack (6) and Marie (4).

And it looks like there is no stopping Ronan & Yvonne, as they had originally only planned for two children - they might just keep going until they can field a full soccer team (with substitutes!).

Congratulations Yvonne and Ronan...
