Rhys Meyers Greying For Henry...
You would think with all the crazy ups-and-downs going-on in his personal life that Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers would be aging prematurely. Not so. Rather, it's the colossal role of King Henry VIII in The Tudors that has a wisp of grey in the star's beard...

Jonathan Rhys Meyers & Fan |
As Jonathan Rhys Meyers met his adoring fans at the gates of Christ Church this week, it looked like the actor had rapidly aged since the last time we saw him out for dinner at Bang Restaurant. But fear not women of Ireland and The World! - he was merely in character and wearing a stuck-on grey beard as he films the final series of The Tudors.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers |
In the mode of an older Henry VIII Jonny looked every bit the King as his journey into the world of The Tudors finally winds-up this summer. Sadly, the award winning hit series has run its course and won't be back employing Irish actors and extras and all the other fine people involved in the mammoth production next summer. Nor the summer after that.

Joely Richardson |
But on its last lap The Tudors is still attracting the cream of the world's acting talent to deliver the sex infused story lines. Apart from our JRM we also spotted Hollywood actress Joely Richardson strolling around Christ Church in period dress as she headed off for well deserved lunch in a nearby pub. Joely Richardson eating pub grub? Say it aint so...

Sarah Bolger |
And our own homegrown Hollywood actress, in the form of Sarah Bolger, was also spotted on-set this week sipping coffee from a paper cup in full royal court regalia at the normally busy tourist destination sectioned-off for a three day period.

Sarah Bolger |
Although still in her teens Sarah is by now a veteran actress and one of our great hopes to go on and mature into one of Tinseltown's leading ladies. God knows, we have enough leading men... About time the girls got a look-in.

Henry Cavill |
British hunk Henry Cavill was seen strolling around the ancient Dublin church in his Tudors get-up. Alas, after making this fair city his home for the past few summers, we probably won't be seeing the star around these here parts after this show finally packs-up... We're welling up here folks.
