Norton measures up to Brian...

Votes from both the UK and Ireland helped Irishman Brian Dowling, the 'King of Queens' win Big Brother over the weekend. Now, Ireland’s other famous gay TV personality Graham Norton has admitted that the Irish air steward is so like him that it’s scary.

"When I watched it I thought. God such an obvious comparison. But, then later I thought. God even I remind myself of Brian."

Norton also dismissed the idea of a gay relationship between Brian and fellow housemate Josh Rafter. "They think gay men stop on their way home and shag behind trees."

Brian himself has been celebrating for the weekend and declared to the world when he did come out of the house that he was currently single. "I’m, young free and single spread the word," he told the world as he left the house.

But it wasn’t all good news for Brian. He only got to spend a few minutes with his family who has flown over from Ireland for the night. He was whisked away after the show to a press conference then on to a secret location.

Friends and family are still waiting to find out when the star will return home to Rathangan so they can set up a party for him.
