Brian sick of 'Gay' branding...

Big Brother winner Brian Dowling, has revealed that he does not want to be labelled as 'gay Brian' anymore.

TV-presenter Brian, who was the star guest of the Ye@h! Internet launch in Dublin yesterday, is said to be annoyed at the branding and wants to be his old self again.

The 23 year-old pin-up from Rathangan, Co Wicklow, does not see himself as a gay role model.

He told press recently: "Why do they keep having to say gay Brian? Everyone knows I'm gay. I'm just starting out in life. I don't have any answers. I'm just this guy from Rathangan who used to work at the checkout in Dunnes. I've done the best I can. I'm a gay guy who won a popularity contest and I did that by just being me. I wasn't fighting for gay rights."

Despite the fact that he is a well known celebrity, Brian still does not see himself as so, but has admitted that he employs a personal trainer to help him look good.

Brian, who scooped stg£70,000 by winning last years Big Brother, has been signed up by the producers of popular Saturday morning show SM:TV.

He currently has a one-year contract and it is thought that the TV bosses have high hopes for the charismatic star.
