Popstars already in Global demand...
Louis
Walsh's Irish version of Popstars is set
to be RTE's biggest show of the year.
The
TV show kicked off its first program last Sunday capturing
over 41% of the TV audience. The show will run for
over 13 weeks and ShowBizIreland.com will be
running a week by week news update hand in hand with
the producers of the show to bring you up to the minute
news on Ireland's next big thing.
RTE
have already gained worldwide support to the show
after selling the rights to stations in New Zealand,
South Africa, Canada, France and Sweden.
The
first show on Sunday showed all the auditions from
Dublin, Cork, Galway and Belfast.
In
the UK reports are that both the BBC and C4 are already
fighting to show the Irish Popstars.
During
the Irish show Kerry Katona, Samantha Mumba
and Westlife all made appearances to help the budding
stars.
