Byrne Down & Out in Beverly Hills...

Irish actor Gabriel Byrne has been snapped in Beverly Hills dressed as a down and out and rummaging through the trash.

But don't worry Byrne is far from being down on his luck, in fact he's dressed in rags for a role in his latest movie Shade.

The all star cast includes Thandie Newton, Gabriel Byrne and the fellow Irish actor Stuart Townsend.

The story features the hustlers - played by Newton, Townsend and Byrne - encountering The Dean (Sly Stallone) and pulling off a successful sting which leads to them being pursued by a vengeful gangster.

Producer Chris Hammond told the press: "It's been a long time since there has been a cool LA movie. We hope this film does for modern Los Angeles what LA Confidential did for 1950s Los Angeles."
