Mumba's Miramax Musical...

Irish Diva Samantha Mumba has relaunched her movie career with the lead role in a big-budget musical along the lines of Chicago and Moulin Rouge.

The sexy Samantha Mumba has been out of the charts and the newspapers for a while - mainly because the talented Dubliner has been concentrating on her acting career.

Rumours in the Irish media suggest that Sam has signed a multi-million dollar deal with movie giants Miramax for a big budget musical...

The name or subject matter of the movie have yet to be released but if you get your hands of the Sunday World this weekend we're sure all will be revealed...

Samantha's manager Louis Walsh is also making the news lately. The outspoken Pop Svengali has taken on Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, saying she has only managed to stay in the public eye due to her famous husband.

Louis said on a BBC documentry: "She was never in the charts on her own. She has no talent at all, she can't sing. She looks OK, but even that depends on the day and the photographer."

His attack went on: "She's only in the newspapers because she is married to a very famous footballer."
