Mumba
another WTC casulty?
Irish
pop & screen diva Samantha
Mumba's first movie The Time Machine's
release date has been moved to 2002. Rumours circulating
on the Web insist that it is due to scenes that depict
the destruction of New York.
One
of ShowBizIreland.com's good friends in the
US reports on their Web Site Aintitcool.com
that a jaw dropping scene in the movie shows the Moon
terraforming and accidentally exploding and parts
crash into the Earth.
"There's
a horrific sequence in the film involving an attempt
to do some terraforming on the moon. The explosions
are miscalculated, and the moon is literally blown
out of its orbit, causing huge pieces of it to rain
down on New York."
In
light of the horrific terrorist events that recently
rocked the US and in New York in particular, those
scenes would surely have to be omitted by Dreamworks.
Other
setbacks to the movie have been that Spielberg
requested Samantha Mumba's scenes to be reshot
aswell as the Director Simon Wells having to
be replaced.
