Samantha Mumba is Sleeping Beauty...

Some weeks back we reported that Irish stunner Samantha Mumba was in-line for a leading role in a Hollywood musical, it has now been revealed it will be a movie version of Sleeping Beauty...

When RTE's Late Late Show contacted ShowBiz Ireland last friday to request some photos of Samantha Mumba's boyfriend Mark Henderson for the programme we knew there was one question in particular Pat Kenny was going to put to her.

It has long been rumoured around Dublin that the pop diva had been lined up for a big Hollywood role and it was only a matter of time before she let the cat out of the bag, but unfortunately she remained tightlipped on the show.

But thankfully the wily reporters from the Ireland on Sunday newspaper managed to get the scoop that Mumba is in fact going to make a film version of the Disney classic Sleeping Beauty.

The paper also confirmed the movie will be a musical.

It's a pity Mumba isn't filming a version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as she could have got the members from Irish boy-band D-Side to take up five of the dwarf roles!!
