Hunky Irish actor Colin Farrell jetted into Dublin this week to be by the side of his sick Grandfather, he also launched the Dublin International Film Festival last night with his handsome family in toe.

The actor, all of Hollywood is talking about, showed his loyalty to his native city by launching the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival yesterday.

The self confessed 'Mummy's Boy' used the occasion to have a rare drink with his immediate family. Farrell (26) is currently the busiest and most wanted actor on the globe with back-to-back films in the pipeline aswell as back-to-back film launches...

So, it was no wonder he brought his mother Rita, older brother Eamon, and sister Claudine along to the event which took place in Dublin's Traffic Bar.

Farrell's next release, The Recruit in which he stars alongside Al Pacino, will be screened as part of the Dublin International Film Festival.

The festival will screen 66 films from 30 countries over a period of eight days from March 6th - 13th at the Screen Cinema, The Savoy Cinema and the Irish Film Centre.
