Farrell waiting for Cruise to Report...

Tom Cruise's divorce from his wife Nicole Kidman has meant that the Irish actor Colin Farrell set to star with him in his next film has been left stranded in LA. The reason is that film guru Steven Spielberg is reportedly clashing with fellow film-maker Cameron Crowe over Hollywood's hottest commodity, Tom Cruise and Ireland's biggest new star has been left standing in the course of the argument.

The Oscar-winning director is said to be increasingly anxious because of delays on the set of Crowe's film Vanilla Sky. This could mean Cruise will not be finished in time to join Spielberg's Minority Report when it begins filming on March 22.

Spielberg had originally hoped to begin shooting last week and Cruise's co-star, Irish actor Colin Farrell, is waiting in Los Angeles until he gets the call.

Sources say Vanilla Sky has been delayed because of the problems of protecting Cruise and his co-star Penelope Cruz from intense media interest following his separation from Nicole Kidman.
