It's a pity the reviews of Colin Farrell's latest flick Alexander The Great aren't quite as glowing as as his costar's reviews of Dublin and the Irish people they met.

The movie's cast which includes Val Kilmer and Angelina Jolie seemed quite bowled over by the warmth of the people here and overwhelming welcome they received. So much so they agreed to hang around Dublin for the weekend just to see what all the Colin induced hype was about...

It was rumoured that Col and CO would be prerecording a special edition of the Late Late Show on Friday so ShowBiz Ireland put two-and-two-together and assumed that after Pat Kenny was done with the Alexander cast they would no doubt turn-up at Renards nightclub.

And our hunch paid off as true-to-form Colin turned up at his uncle Robbie Fox's VIP club with Val Kilmer and Oliver Stone in close pursuit, even though a gale-force wind was blowing!

As Colin entered Renards ShowBiz Ireland asked him politely if he'd stop for a photo to which he relied: "no f****** problem man, at least you guys have the decency to ask."
