Farrell teams up with Spielberg & Cruise...

ShowBizIreland.com sources in Dublin have confirmed that the Irish actor Colin Farrell has been in talks with Hollywood heavyweights Steven Speilberg and Tom Cruise. Farrell joined Speilberg and actor Cruise to confirm details on a new movie the trio are making together which is rumoured to be called Minority Report.

Sources close to the Dublin actor have alleged that last week Farrell meet up with Cruise and Speilberg to agree terms for the new movie based on a Philip K. Dick short story, which will include the young Irish actor spending a month training in Yale University in the USA.

Speilberg has agreed to pay Farrell $1.5 million plus a share in the tail end of profits for his role in the movie.

Speilberg has also cast the Irish actor Brendan Gleeson (MI2) in a role in his current movie AI (Artificial Intelligence).

Colin Farrell has just finished a roles in the Hollywood blockbusters Tigerland and American Outlaws where he played Jesse James. He is currently filming Hart's War with Bruce Willis.
