Farrell Dares to be Dublin...

Irish actor Colin Farrell is to pick up a nice cheque of over $5 million for his role in The Farm with Al Pacino but in his next film the star is getting more money for using his own accent.

The Irish press have reported that the Dublin actor Farrell is to keep his native Irish accent in his upcoming movie Dare Devil.

The Castleknock actor stars in the film with Pearl Harbour star Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.

Farrell is currently in LA shooting the movie where he plays a character called Bullseye. In the film fate deals a young orphan Matt Murdock (Affleck) a strange hand when he is doused with radioactive waste.

The accident leaves Matt blind but also gives him a heightened "radar sense" that allows him to "see" far better than any man.

Years later Murdock has grown into a man and becomes a respected criminal attorney. But after he's done his day job Matt takes on a secret identity as The Man Without Fear, Daredevil, the masked avenger that patrols the neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen and New York City to combat the injustice that he cannot tackle in the courtroom.
