Bond to get the best lay of his life...

Irish actor Pierce Brosnan has bedded some of the most beautiful women in the world as James Bond but he's about to get the best...

Now, after 40 years in action the spy is finally set to get the best sex of his life. Director Lee Tamahori said he has shot a sizzling love scene for the latest 007 instalment, Die Another Day.

The Navan born Brosnan, who stars as the secret agent in the 20th Bond film, is both shaken and stirred during the encounter with Bond girl Halle Berry.

Tamahori told Vanity Fair: "Bond's PG requirements have traditionally meant you can only show post-coital sex. You know, clothes strewn around the room, the camera slowly pans over to the bed. But we thought 'why couldn't Bond have the best lay of his life?' So we shot a very hot love scene."

The Queen is set to see the action when she attends the world premiere of the movie at London's Royal Albert Hall on November 18. Bond's previous on-screen conquests include Ursula Andress, Britt Ekland, Grace Jones and Teri Hatcher.

But the spy, who has spent his career defeating bad guys, could yet have his dream romance ruined by the one enemy he can do nothing about.

Tamahori told Vanity Fair he was not certain whether the spiced-up love scene would survive the censors, or the producer's cut.
