Brosnan Dons Sombrero in Mexicali...

Before Irish hunk Pierce Brosnan puts on his Savile Row suit and reprises the James Bond role, the man from Navan is heading down to Mexico on a very dangerous vacation.

Brosnan is pumped and ready to go and film the 21st Bond movie which is tipped to hit our screens in 2005.

But before he sets out on what could be his final 007 movie and slips back into those comfortable secret agent shoes Brosnan has signed up for two action packed thrillers.

His next movie will be the much publicised on these pages After the Sunset, then he will team up with Good Will Hunting, Gladiator, and Black Hawk Down Editor Pietro Scalia on his directorial debut movie Mexicali.

The plot of the Mexicali centres around Pierce and his wife on a vacation in Mexico where they witness a murder on a boat.

After the murder Brosnan's wife goes missing forcing him to get her back and make an action packed run for the US border while being pursued by the bad guys in Sombreros.

Once that's in the bag Pierce will be on some exotic location surrounded by bikini clad babes as James Bond.
