Irish
stars in the World's Sexiest...

Brosnan, Andrea Corr and Big Brother
star Brian Dowling were the only Irish stars
picked as some of the world's sexist people.
Pop
princess Kylie Minogue was however voted the
world's sexiest star, taking the title over celebrities
such as Catherine Zeta Jones, Britney Spears
and Nicole Kidman.
The
33-year-old singer came top in the poll, followed
by US singer Jennifer Lopez and EastEnders
star Jessie Wallace, who plays man-eater
Kat Slater, in third place.
The
results of the survey among readers of Heat magazine,
cap an amazing year for the singer whose album Fever
went multi-platinum and whose single Can't Get
You Out of My Head, stayed at number one for four
weeks.
On the list of sexiest men, there was no change from
last year with pop king Robbie Williams taking
the title for the second year running. In at number
two was England captain David Beckham who managed
to improve his position and unseat Brad Pitt
from second place.
Notable
newcomers this year included the Irish Big Brother
winner Brian Dowling in at number six and newly divorced
Tom Cruise at seven.
The
appearance of EastEnders actress Jessie Wallace at
number three was also a surprise as she overtook more
established international names. The 30-year-old actress,
left some of the world's most famous and beautiful
women trailing behind with Madonna only making
it as high as number 12 and supermodel Naomi Campbell
just scraping in at number 23.
Dermot
O'Leary, who is of direct Irish decent, came in
at number 4 after a big year covering Big Brother
for E4.
