Madonna Not Up For Grabs to Brosnan...

Pop icon Madonna is set to play a lesbian fencing instructor in the new Bond film, Die Another Day. But will she be able to resist 007's charms?

Apparently the reason she is playing a lesbian is so she can excuse herself from the compulsory 007 bedroom scene with the star of the film Pierce Brosnan.

Madge's appearance - which is one scene - takes place in the Blades Club in London, and involves James Bond duelling with villain Gustav Graves, supervised by Madonna.

Her appearance is believed to be shorter than originally intended, with kinder reports suggesting that this is due to her hectic schedule.

Some have speculated that Madonna infuriated the film's director, Lee Tamahori, after she got ideas above her station and demanded that her lines be rewritten by her husband Guy Ritchie.

Madge also demanded script revisions to the play, Up for Grabs, in which she is currently starring.

Thankfully Guy did not make those revisions, which were left to playwright David Williamson.
