Bono helps Guggi Host New Work...

Bono's best mate, artist Guggi, pulled out all the stops last night when he displayed his "new work" to a host of celebrities in Dublin.

Guggi's exhibition opened last night in the Solomon Gallery at Powerscourt Townhouse Centre and was attended by a who's who of Irish and international stars.

On the night Bono arrived fashionably late with his wife Ali and The Edge in tow. Soon to be followed by Jim Corr and his sister Sharon, Gavin Friday (Bono's other best mate) and Andrea Corr, and surprise guest Woody Harrelson (White Men Can't Jump) and Irish trad legend Christy Moore.

The night was an apparent success for Guggi as the word "sold" appeared on more and more paintings by the end of the evening.

The whole occasion was obviously very emotional for Bono as he openly hugged guests and joked with other celebrities to the delight of ShowBizIreland.com's photographers.

Bono lets Christy Moore know where the love's at...

If you wish to get your hands on a Guggi original (all the celebrities have one!), his exhibition "new work" runs from 7th to 26th of October in Solomon Gallery, Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, Dublin.
