U2 to sing from the rooftops again...

ShowBizIreland.com can exclusivly reveal today that Ireland's and the world's biggest rock band U2 will be performing two songs from their upcoming album 'All That You Can't Leave Behind' this Wednesday. Furthermore the first song will be their new single Beautiful Day which is released on October 9th and the second will be 'Elevation.' The big news however is that in a relapse of the Joshua Tree days the band will blast out the tunes from the roof top of a building. And not just any building. The roof of the band's Dublin hotel The Clarence located in Dublin's city centre.

This is their first live performance of the new album. The performance will take place on the roof of the Clarence at 3pm. Due to space constraints there is only room for one photographer on the roof and he will ISDN shots to all who request it.

The performance will then be broadcast on Top of The Pops on October 6th.
